I hit up CVS yesterday since I have some ECB's that were getting close to expiration. I hadn't been there in a couple weeks since Wag's deals have been so good.
Anyways, here is what I got:
  1. 2 Purex laundry detergent. I had a B1G1 coupon and a rain check from previous weeks when they were also B1G1=2 free laundry detergents
  2. 1 gallon of milk $1.99
  3. 1 Playtex tampons $3.99, get $3.00 ECB, use 1 $1.00 cpn
  4. 1 pack of playing cards, $3.29
  5. 1 Dove cleansing pads on clr for $2.50, used CVS crt for $2.50 off any Dove product
  6. 2 Lumene on sale B1G150% off, $2.99 for the first one and $1.49 for the second. Used 1 CVS crt for $5.00 off any Lumene purchase
  7. 1 Blade deoderant on clearance for $1.12, used 1 $1.00 CVS coupon
  8. 3 L'Oreal all natural eye shadows on clearance for $2.49 each, used 3 $2.00 coupons
  9. 1 L'Oreal lip product on clearance for $2.37, used 1 $2.00 coupon
  10. 1 L'Oreal color juice lip product on clearance for $2.49, used 1 $2.00 coupon
  11. 1 Colgate toothpaste $2.99, get $2.00 ECB, use 1 $1.00 coupon
  12. 2 Bandaids 30 ct, $2.99 each, get $4.00 back, use 2 $1.00 coupons
  13. 2 Planters nuts on sale B1G1, $5.49, use 2 $1.00 printables
  14. 2 Sobe, on sale B1G1, use 1 B1G1 printable
  15. 2 Speed Stick deoderant, $3.99 each, get $3.99 ECB on each, used 1 $.75 off 2 coupon

Total came to $74.79 before coupons. I used 1 CVS $3.00 off $15.00 and 1 CVS $5.00 off $30.00 and 1 CVS $4.00 off $20.00 beauty purchase. The beauty coupon was long expired but they still took it. I wish I would have had more CVS coupons with me but I didn't think my total was going to be near that high. Then I used $17.00 in ECB's and paid $1.92. I got back $16.98. Not too shabby. :) The savings on my receipt said I saved $122.98!

A definite downside to having cathedral ceilings. When a balloon gets lets go of in the living room, it stays up there until the helium is all done. Yes, this can be seen from outside. Yes, the balloon says "Happy Mother's Day" and yes, it will probably be up there until after Father's Day.

At least everytime I see it, I can be reminded of how sweet Caleb was. He took both the girls shopping and they both girls came home with balloons and chocolate. Next time, hopefully we can ask for extra long strings since this is a regular occurence in our home when we get balloons.

A day at the "zoo"...or sort of since we forgot to check hours and it ended up being an hour at the jungle gym at the zoo. :)

Piper cleaning her feet. She can not stand for the to be dirty. The slightest piece of dirt on her feet and it is a serious trauma to her. :)

This was where she went to clean off her feet. :)

Ambry and Sage hiding from the boys.
Violet being Violet.

Look at those gorgeous eyes!

Piper's "baby" taking a nap. Yes, I know, pointless pic but I couldn 't resist. I think it is so cute that my girls both take along "babies" where ever we go. Ambry's bunny was sitting in the stroller the whole time we were playing. :)

A fun day despite not being able to see the animals.

Here is my AWESOME trip to Meijer this week. It might have taken me over an hour to do--the Crystal Light spilled all over my groceries and the coupons I was going to use. :( The cashier was very nice about it but the manager came over and told me to keep my kids in line and tell them to be careful around the products. I was not too happy about that since it wasn't my fault the seal wasn't sealed all the way. Oh well. Lots of good deals. That makes up for the cranky manager.

Here is my list of goodies:

  1. 3 boxes of Wheat Thins
  2. 4 Kraft Salad dressings
  3. 1 bag of carrots
  4. 1 celery
  5. 5 boxes of Jello
  6. 1 box of Jello pudding
  7. 3 Starkist Gourmet Seas
  8. 4 cans of tuna
  9. 1 Coffee Mate
  10. 14 packages of Ortega taco seasoning
  11. 6 ears of corn
  12. 2 Breyers ice cream
  13. 1 cottage cheese
  14. 4 Kraft singles
  15. 2 Crystal Light dishwasher things
  16. 3 McCormick grill mates
  17. 2 packages of cream cheese

My total was over $75.00 and I ended up paying $2.46!!! Yes, you read that right. I have to add though that I had $15.80 in bottle returns, and $5.50 in Meijer catalinas. Still, that is an amazing savings. My receipt said I saved $82.34! Sweet, right?

Last week, my Grandma M. came and visited us. She was in Michigan for a cousin's wedding and we were so happy that we got to spend a little bit of time with her. She came bearing gifts--coloring books and crayons for the girls, a Magic Noodles art project, and Gummi's (which are long gone) candy doesn't seem to last long around here.

Kaylynn and Grandma. This pic turned out so good!
Kaylynn, me, Jordan, and Grandma. Caleb was still at work when she was over and Gerrit and Jen weren't able to make it.

Thanks so much for making the time to come over and visit with us, Grandma! We miss you and hope to see you again soon.

Target deals

Here is what I got. I will separate this into the transactions that I did it in. The Target that I was at would only let me use 1 Target coupon per item per transaction. A pain, but worth it to me.

Transaction 1:

  1. 4 Swiffer wet floor refills $4.04 each. Buy 2 get a Target $5.00 G.C. back. I used 2 $.50 Swiffer refill coupons from P & G mailer

  2. 1 Bliss candy bar $.99, use 1 Target coupon here

  3. 1 Target 2 pack of kitchen scrubs $.99, use 1 $.75 Target coupon here

  4. 1 Pringles pack, use 1 Target $.50 coupon here

  5. Nabisco 100 cal pack, $1.93. Use 1.00 printable and 1 Target coupon here

  6. 2 Glade candles $5.79 each, use 2 $4.00 Glade coupons from insert, and I found a $1.00 off any 2 Glade candles Target coupon in the store. Also get back a $5.00 G.C. for buying 2 Glade candles.

Total came to $18.73. I used 3 $5.00 G.C. from last weeks Fiber One deals and paid $1.27 in cash. I also got back 3 $5.00 G.C.!

Transaction 2:

  1. 1 can of Pringles $.69, use Target coupon here

  2. 1 A1 steak sauce $2.89, use $2.00 coupon from SS insert this week

Total came to $1.08 after coupons.

Transaction 3:

  1. 1 Bliss bar, use Target coupon here

  2. 1 can of Pringles, use Target coupon here

  3. A1 steak sauce, use $2.00 coupon

  4. 2 Kraft dressings, use 2 $1.50 coupons from SS this week and 1 Target coupon for $1.00 off 2 here

Total came to $1.08 after coupons.

Transaction 4:

  1. 1 Target kitchen 2 pack of scrubs $.99, use 1 Target coupon for $.75 here

  2. 1 Bliss, use Target coupon here

  3. 1 can of Pringles, use Target coupon here

  4. 2 Glade candles, use 2 $4.00 Glade coupons, get back 1 Target $5.00 G.C.

Total came to $4.33, I used G.C. to pay for and got back a $5.00 G.C. Ends up being a money maker!

Transaction 5:

  1. 1 Bliss, use Target coupon here

  2. 1 can of Pringles, use Target coupon here

  3. 2 Swiffer wet floor refills $4.04 each, get back $5.00 G.C.

Came to $8.37. Used Gift cards to pay and got back $5.00 G.C.

Obviously, you don't need to do all these different transactions. I had already put everything in my cart and I didn't want to put stuff back when the cashier wouldn't let me use more than one Target coupon per transaction.

Final costs were, $74.76! I paid $3.43 in cash. This could have been less if I would have been paying attention and used my gift cards to pay for everything. So I used $15.00 that I had in previous gift cards and used $12.70 from gifts cards that I received from the above orders and still have $12.30 left on gift cards!

To make this deal even better, there is a $10.00 mail in rebate on the Swiffer products. That is why I bought 6 of them. Send that in, get back $10.00!!

Just a quick post for now...I desperately need to clean my house before I put up the deals for the week. And, boy, are there some great deals!

Go over to here and print tons of awesome Kraft coupons. Also, register on Kraft's website here and print them again. This should get you a total of 4 coupons per item!

Then go over to here and match up the Kraft coupons with Target coupons to get some amazing deals on food this week. Also, if you eat hotdogs, Oscar Meyer hot dogs are on sale this week at Meijer. Use the $1.00 off 2 Kraft printable, a $1.00 off 2 Meijer Mealbox coupon, and the tearaway coupon by the hotdogs at Meijer and get 2 packs of hotdogs and 1 pack of buns for $.50!!!

I went and picked out some bedding for the girls. Or I suppose I should say I went and picked out bedding for the girls...again. I am so horribly indecisive. It takes me forever to settle on something. I think that I am always thinking there just might be something out there that might be just a little bit cuter. :)

So I need your help. What do you think of this bedding?

The bedding is also reversible which I really like.

I also have blue, green, and a shade of orange polka dots painted on the walls. I don't think the colors don't look too bad with bedding, but what do you think? Should I just paint over them and change the colors to match the bedding?
Do you see how this can take me forever to make up my mind. Oh the decisions! :)
And for those that are wondering, yes I keep the tags on until I am 100% positive that I like the bedding. Horrible, I know.
